Michael S. Blackwell

Michael S. Blackwell’s practice focuses on all aspects of commercial construction law, including suretyship, general commercial litigation, construction litigation on both public and private projects, contract drafting and review, entity formation, and general advice during the course of projects.

Michael has litigated construction cases in federal and state courts, as well as arbitration, and has been involved in matters related to service-disabled veteran-owned small business formation (SDVOSBs), corporate dissolutions, project financing negotiations, the Fair Labor Standards Act, contractor defaults, sales and use tax issues, copyright infringement disputes, as well as a variety other matters surrounding owners, developers, general contractors, and subcontractors.
