Shields Mott L.L.P. Seminar on Recent Amendments to the Louisiana Private Works Act

On September 27, 2019, Shields | Mott L.L.P. partners, Betsy Gordon and Adrian D’Arcy, presented a CLE for the New Orleans Bar Association on the Recent Amendments to the Louisiana Private Works Act.

This well-attended seminar covered the changes and touched on the new rights and requirements concerning notice, time to file, and priority of the Louisiana Private Works Act liens.

Betsy Gordon’s primary practice focuses on the areas of construction and surety law, commercial litigation, and insurance defense. She represents owners, contractors, subcontractors, and design professionals in all aspects of construction from contract negotiation and drafting claims to claims resolution in state and federal courts.
